Re: [jakarta.ee-spec.committee] JCP Process Doc Draft

That's correct! All JSRs can be iterative if wanted so by the spec lead

Thanks MikeD, I thought this should not be Problem thanks to Transparency in the JCP 😉

What are the plans for JSR 387 to go final?

It seems, the Iterative JSRs are not restricted to Platform JSRs like Java SE?

Subject: [jakarta.ee-spec.committee] JCP Process Doc Draft

At the August 29 meeting of the Spec Committee I took an Action Item to request permission from Oracle to distribute a draft of the JCP Process Doc to the Spec Committee. After discussing my request with Don Deutsch, Heather VanCura sent me the following reply:

“All of the JCP.Next work on JSR 387 is open to the public, so you may distribute the drafts of the JCP process doc anywhere you like when they are circulated to the EC serving as the Expert Group. Please note that the JCP Process Doc has an Oracle copyright, so it may not be copied.”

Therefore, attached is a copy of the latest draft of the JCP Process Doc; with recent changes noted.

At its meeting on September 11, the JCP Executive Committee will discuss this doc.

MikeD
