I suggest changing 3 from 


  1. Discuss Specification Project lifecycle diagrams as presented in the     early draft document



TO

Discuss comments and suggested edits to the Specification Project lifecycle diagrams.

So that we can discuss the comments, not just the diagrams.

Also, I don't think we can do everything on this list in an hour. I suggest that a shared document outline be created by someone and then group edited and discussed at the next meeting, rather than trying to hammer out an outline from scratch during the . meeting.

  1. Past business / action items

    1. Approval of the August 22 and August 29, 2018 minutes as distributed.

    2. High-level Plan for completing the Specification Process (per Mike’s email)

      • Sept. 5 (tomorrow): Agree on table of contents/outline of document. I.e. will the document we are constructing meet the requirement of describing a spec process in sufficient detail to replace the JCP?

      • Oct. 3: Draft complete

      • Oct. 10: Specification Committee approval to refer it to the Steering Committee

      • Oct. 16: Steering Committee approval to release for community review

    • Any feedback on the plan?


  1. Agree on the Scope and Outline (Table Of Contents) of the Specification Process Document

    1. Will the document we are constructing meet the requirement of describing a spec process in sufficient detail to replace the JCP?

  2. Discuss Specification Project lifecycle diagrams as presented in the early draft document

  3. Resolve Comments in the early draft document

  4. Reviewing the Plan (on the future calls)
