Re: [jakarta.ee-community] Have you built a next-gen Jakarta EE application?

Very Interesting question . I was a java enthusiast developer and Java  EE Architect . Notice the past time !!!
Now with new ,incoming ,technologies I am asking my self the same question , how an Enterprise/Web application can be translated in a cloud/micro services context ? I am trying to porting one of my app and statred to study possibilities .
The major possibilities are  JDK based like Jakarta Microprofile,Helidon
Other possibilities are  simply based on Java language with a vendor-specific dependency ( Quarkus )
In all cases , I understood ( ? )  it is impossible to translate a Jakarta EE app to new technologies , I think about "old classic" Business Tier (stateless, statefull, transaction and so on )  --> please prove me I am wrong !
But the main question is : what is the useful of a Jakarta EE platform , I mean  a EE application , if today all efforts , it seams, is focused toward  cloud/micro services. What would be /will be the role of EE application in the next tech scenario ?

thanks

Dear Community,

Is there any of you who has created a new or refactored an old Jakarta EE application in the last year with any, or all of the following characteristics:

- containers-based
- microservices
- event-driven
- serverless
- functions-based
- API-led
- AI-infused

Please let me know. I have some interesting promotion opportunities for you.
