That is concerning to say the least. I will bring this up in the steering committee aside from my ongoing conversation with Ed Burns. I cannot imagine something could not be figured out. This is just software after all (granted it’s legacy software with a lot of technical debt).

Given how the vote is going now regarding the exclusion of the tests using appclient, I'm not really seeing how that would happen given our current amount of resources, our current velocity, and the many unknowns we still have.

I would love to be proved wrong, but the Jakarta EE 11 release may just as well not happen before Q3 2025.
