It does depend on what you believe is the rapid cadence. Around me I see that often people think Java is versioned 11, 17, 21, 25, and that the cadence of releasing every 2 year is quite fast compared to what they perceive (or heard) what it was before. The only complaint there is that Java has a weird versioning scheme, but "they" think it's some kind of nerdy joke.
