I'm going to jump out on a limb here and say that if that is something you think would benefit the community, see if you can spearhead the project. Is there an existing bidirectional bridge between email and  a popular chat client like Zulip?

If possible to integrate all jakarta mail lists to channels of  a message client, eg, zulip. Thus we get email messages from a message client directly, and also can reply in the client.

As I know, many developers, especially in China, are not interested in using email to communicate.
