|Re: [jakarta.ee-community] [jakarta.ee-wg] EclipseCon 2021 Call for Proposals|
Thanks for sending the email out Sharon!
I am extending the CFP EclipseCon 2021 invite to the community and in particular to Jakarta EE Marketing Committee, so they can further share and amplify the message.
EclipseCon 2021 is the biggest Eclipse Foundation event of the year. It will be held October 25-28 as a virtual event, and the call for conference talk proposals is now open! The submission close date is June 15.
EclipseCon is the leading conference for developers, architects, and open source business leaders who want to learn about Eclipse technologies, share best practices, and more. The conference provides the Eclipse ecosystem and the industry’s leading minds an opportunity to explore common challenges and innovate together on open source runtimes, tools, and frameworks for cloud and edge applications, IoT, artificial intelligence, connected vehicles and transportation, digital ledger technologies, and much more.
For our working group community, EclipseCon 2021 talks are an excellent vehicle to share details on your projects and initiatives, and to create interest with other developers in the Eclipse community. Visit the CFP page to see the list of categories and submission details.
April 15: CFP opens
June 1: Early bird deadline
June 15: Submissions close
July 1: Speakers notified (date is approximate)
In addition to the CFP, Eclipse Community Day is returning to EclipseCon 2021. Planning will get underway in early June, and will include engagement of our Working Groups.
