Re: [jakarta.ee-community] Shameless Plug... :-)

I guess you'd make a good candidate there.

What exactly is the difference between running as Committer and Contributing Member Candidates?
For me as an individual member it would be only one of the two, but when does someone working for a member company run there as opposed to the company like Microsoft or IBM?

Hi,
Some of you may have noticed that the Eclipse Board of Directors election is now underway.  All Eclipse committers are eligible to vote.  The official ballot invite was mailed to the email associated with your Eclipse account.  The link in that email is the only way you can cast your ballot.  (FYI, there was a mistake with the URL provided in some of the earlier ballots.  A refreshed ballot was sent out this morning.  Please check your email for this updated ballot.)

Anyway, I wanted you all to know that I am running as the Committer Representative, specifically looking to represent the Jakarta EE and MicroProfile communities on the Board of Directors.  I would greatly appreciate consideration when casting your vote!  Thank you!

Here's a link to all of the nominees:  https://www.eclipse.org/org/elections/nominees.php
