Re: [jakarta.ee-community] Community review of the Draft Eclipse Foundation Specification Process (EFSP) Oct 17th - 31st

Great milestone - well done to everyone who put this document together, it’s a decidedly non trivial exercise.

Hello Jakarta EE Community,

we are happy to announce and share a draft of the Eclipse Foundation Specification Process (EFSP) that will be used for development of Jakarta EE Specifications. Please consider this as an invitation for your review and feedback on the EFSP. The review period for the Community is October 17th - 31st, 2018.

We are welcoming your feedback via email (preferred) or via comments in Google doc.

Before you start looking into the EFSP document, please refer to this blog from Mike Milinkovich that outlines key points of the process. In particular, Mike has pointed out quite a few important differences in the EFSP compared with the JCP.
As always, many thanks for your participation and involvement!

Best Regards,
Tanja

P.S. Looking forward to chatting with some of you at EclipseCon Europe 2018!
