More like trying to shoehorn applications with 10+ year old libraries into the latest version of Payara. I’ve seen some horrendous war files with multiple copies of the same jar just different versions. Half of the JavaEE apis in the jar. Xalan Xerces jars in war files etc. I must admit that old Spring apps are some of the worst offenders. +1 Absolutely -- I'm deleting superfluous stuff all the time. Sometimes 80% of the dependencies.
