Dear IoT community,
The Call for Proposals for Open Community Experience 2027 (OCX27) is now open. OCX27 takes place 13 to 15 April 2027 in Brussels, organised by the Eclipse Foundation.
The Software-Defined Systems & Mobility Track covers embedded and edge systems, robotics, autonomous systems and connected products, and IoT work sits inside it. The program committee is looking for sessions such as:
- Operating systems for microcontrollers and gateways
- Low-latency middleware for UAVs and mobile robots
- Functional safety and security with open toolchains
Please note that IoT security and the implications of the Cyber Resilience Act for connected products fit the Cybersecurity & Regulatory Compliance Track.
The committee wants talks grounded in real experience: a working implementation, a lesson learned the hard way, or practical knowledge other teams can use. First-time speakers are welcome.
Early bird deadline: 23 October 2026.
