Joakim,

Thank you very much for taking the time to review the document. I’ve answered/addressed your comments directly in the document.

Thanks again!
Benjamin.

Thanks for updating - that give me some hope that we could get in Contiki OS or our new effort Contiki-NG (Contiki - Next Generation) where we
focus 100% on IoT devices. On the list of OS:es you had missed out Contiki last time - which was a bit odd since your report on IoT-OS usage
showed Contiki in a nice spot. I would even like to open the discussion on the topic if Eclipse IoT will have its own OS hosted at some time?

Would there be a position within the Eclipse IoT open-source projects? We might be interested, but nothing I can decide on my own - but
I can bring up the question on both sides!

I’d be happy to give anyone more information on Contiki-NG if you do not know anything about the effort or would not like to add to the list
of OS-es for constrained devices that are already there.

Best regards,

Hi,

As you probably know, our white papers [1] have proven to be a very valuable resource for sharing our approach to building IoT on top of open source technology and open ecosystems.

With the original "The Three Software Stacks Required for IoT Architectures" white paper now a bit more than a year old, it is probably time to give it a refresher. For example, there are some new projects that have joined Eclipse IoT in the meantime.
The more recent Industry 4.0 white paper does not currently include a mention to our testbed efforts, so I’ve also created a change

Please review the suggested changes here [2] and here [3] and let me know by the end of this week if you have any comments. You can comment directly on the documents, or here in this email thread.
FWIW I do expect that there will be other updates that will need to be done to these documents over time, so please feel free to suggest additional changes at any point in the future.

Thanks,
Benjamin.
