[iot-sp] Meeting Minutes from December 17

All,
Here are the minutes from our meeting today.
1. Cloud Foundry IoT PMC
- Steve Winkler and Chip Childers are working on creating an IoT PMC at
Cloud Foundry. The focus of the PMC will be on the requirements and
infrastructure required by CF to host IoT technology, including those
from Eclipse IoT. A specific example is UDP and LWM2M support.
- The plan is to have the project proposal public in January.
2. Eclipse IoT Connector Project Proposal
- Kai Hudalla gave an update on the IoT Connector project proposal.

- The plan is to submit the proposal to the Eclipse EMO before the end
of next week. The proposal won't go live at eclipse.org before early
January. This is to give the Eclipse Foundation time to review the
proposal and also Bosch and others to finalize their review.
- If anyone is interested in being involved in this project proposal,
either as an interested party or a potential committer, please contact
Kai.Hudalla@xxxxxxxxxxxx and Steffen.Evers@xxxxxxxxxxxx
3. The group still plans to target early March for on a proof of
concept. Key action item is to determine where to host a Cloud Foundry
instance.
- Steve Winkler will investigate the costing of hosting an instance on
Amazon or if GE is able to host it.
4. Next meeting will be Wednesday, January 6.
- This is different from the normal schedule due to the holidays.
However, the group felt it important to review progress after the holidays.
- Ian Skerrett will send out a calendar invite.
