| Hey IoT PMC,
I have to admit that I was not aware of this vote going on until very recently, when someone from within the Bosch organization asked me about my new role :-)  Apologies for that. During the last weeks I was buried deep into the Hono and Californium projects
and didn't really follow the PMC mailing list.

Anyway, I am deeply honored by the fact that you guys think that you can cope with me on the IoT PMC. Thanks for that. I will do my best to stand up to the expectations :-)

I also have to admit that I am currently lacking some guidance regarding the responsibilities of the PMC and the processes we follow. Is there any written document available somewhere which I could study or will I need to bug you guys for some time until
 I learned the ropes?

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Best regards

Objet : Nominating Kai Hudalla to the IoT PMC

I don't think we've ever done a formal vote, and it's now IMO long time overdue that we nominate Kai Hudalla to join the IoT PMC. This is something that we've discussed a few times in the past, both among current
PMC members, and with Kai as well.
As a project leader and someone with his feet in many Eclipse IoT projects, he would be a very valuable addition to the team.
Fellow IoT PMC members, please give your +1 to have Kai Hudalla join the IoT PMC. |
