The short version is that the paperwork process is still in
progress for what looks like eight committers. It appears that one
of your committers hasn't created an Eclipse Foundation account
yet (at least not with the email address specified on the project
proposal).
For those individuals who did not receive the notice, please
direct them to http://portal.eclipse.org and get them to login
using the email address that was specified on the project
proposal. The portal will guide them through what they need to do.
The system will send out periodic reminders. But if our initial
messages aren't getting the individuals, I'm concerned that the
reminders will not either. Generally, if we haven't heard back
from committers after a few weeks, we start hunting them down
individually. In any case, I will ask the admin to start hunting
down the folks that we're waiting for directly.
I'm concerned that some of your committers have not received
paperwork instructions. If our messages are getting spam-filtered,
then that would be good information for us to have to see what we
can do to rework the wording. Unfortunately, sorting this out is a
bit of a moving target and--given that we really don't have any
other means of connecting with a committer until they register--we
tend to lean heavily on the project leads to help us out.
FWIW, we are in the process of revamping this workflow and part
of that revamping will include a means for project leads to have
visibility into the state of the process.

As you can see on our project page (

only a small subset of committers are listed. (John is
listed twice, we don't know the reason for that either.)
I've reached out to a couple of the missing committers to
see if they received the email from Eclipse and they
hadn't. Others did, but they hadn't acted on it yet.
So, my question is how can I track what processing has taken
place for these initial committers? I know when they are
"done" when they show up on the page. But, how can I get
the others properly vetted to get them properly registered
as committers? If we want to use one as an example, let's
use Mark Little. He has not received any emails concerning
the steps required for committership, but he's on our list
of initial committers. How can I kickstart this process for
these missing committers?
Thanks,
Kevin Sutter
