Re: [ide-dev] [ui-best-practices-working-group] Blog Comments

There was a smiley. For us veteran IDE guys, we weren’t very happy when
RCP came about and saw how it took attention away from making the Eclipse
Platform a great IDE platform. It’s ancient history now, but it’s always
good to have a perspective on the history to help understand why certain
people think the way they do, e.g. why some people feel there’s a barrier
to putting IDE functionality in the Platform.

Anyway, never mind, carry on. :)
