[ice-dev] Eclipse Wiki and other services shutting down

Everyone,

See the tweet below with a notice from Denis about shutting down older services at Eclipse, including the wiki. Here's the main ticket:

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=577150

I have made a note on the wiki ticket

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=577153

seeking guidance on what to do about our extensive collection of wiki articles for ICE (and EAVP). Most of these are out of date and should just be archived.

Please let me know and/or speak up on the ticket if you have any questions or comments. I strongly support it because it gives the EF IT team more bandwidth for deploying and supporting newer tools. Note that our project's documentation policy switched to in-repo and in-source about five years ago. The most up-to-date content for the 2.x line is in /docs in the repo and the 3.x docs are mostly in the demos project.

Jay
