Disabling automatic builds while working on the pom could help.
I'm sorry, I didn't make it clear about the constant rebuilds. When
this is happening, I'm not modifying anything, merely sitting back and
watching Eclipse. It will build the project, pause, and build it again,
constantly, without touching anything.
That's what I'm trying to work out. Clearly something circular is going
on within my projects.
In the meantime, I just turned off automatic builds.
