Re: [hyades-dev] Segmentation fault from hand-built RAServer

John,

First, please look at bugzilla 71196 to make sure you have set up the
LD_LIBRARY_PATH to point to the correct JVM library.

BTW, which code base / CVS branch are you using?

Then, if that is not the problem, please do the following:
1. edit the "/oldroot/shared/Hyades/config/serviceconfig.xml" file and
change the value of the "loggingLevel" attribute to "DEBUG"
2. remove the "/oldroot/shared/Hyades/config/servicelog.log"
3. run "RAServer" again
4. show us the content of "/oldroot/shared/Hyades/config/servicelog.log"

John,

I haven't been able to carve out the time to hunt this down any further
yet. I will see if I can get someone to take a look at this today. We do
not use any 'specific' API's that should be preventing you from running.
Unfortunately, we do not have an install of this on hand to reproduce the
problem on.

Richard et al.,

Any idea on this whatsoever? I'm in dire need of getting it going. I've
run the binaries successfully on Red Hat-based systems, and am almost to
the point of being willing to wipe UserLinux in favor of Fedora.

However, if possible, I'd like to avoid this. If you have any pointers or
long shots whatsoever, please pass them along.

Thanks very much for the help!

John
