Just FYI, digging into the github/svn history I did find the following commit by Lucas to Hudson core from last November:

   https://github.com/hudson/hudson/commit/4d2e5e9f100c96a82f187db5f1298f0956ff3eaf

This was wrt. https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=328204 / http://issues.hudson-ci.org/browse/HUDSON-8133
