Proposed Agenda
===============
1) Overall 1.0 Issue status.
Click "1.0 Issues List" link at top of this page:
http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/Components

2) IPR/Release review status. No open CQ's. The C++ xmlsec CQ was
rejected. Code is being rewritten. Eclipse legal is reviewing the 1.0 IP
Log. The committer and contributor contact list is almost done. Review
presentation in process.

3) Higgins F2F in Provo:

Let's spend most of the hour going through this agenda in detail.

Notes:

======

1) Overall 1.0 Issue status.
Click "1.0 Issues List" link at top of this page:
http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/Components

[Tom] 211945 - Can put in support for LDAP to do proxy authorization control. Found a bug in JNDI. Certain LDAP servers don't support this at all. Need a long term solution. Talked with Jim about access control interfaces in IDAS. Should talk about this at F2F. Not sure we'll have a satisfactory solution by 1.0.
[Paul] add a section to agenda to talk about authorization. Topic of authorization is huge for IDAS.

[Paul] 215874 - working with Michael McIntosh on this.

other issues mentioned but no significant new status.

2) IPR/Release review status. No open CQ's. The C++ xmlsec CQ was
rejected. Code is being rewritten. Eclipse legal is reviewing the 1.0 IP
Log. The committer and contributor contact list is almost done. Review
presentation in process.

[Paul] Andy working on xmlsec issue. First step is to get through IPR review. This is happening.

3) Higgins F2F in Provo:
http://wiki.eclipse.org/Jan_29-31_Provo_F2F_Agenda
Let's spend most of the hour going through this agenda in detail.

NOTE: numbers below are from the agenda as it stood before the meeting. The agenda changed during the meeting so the numbers might not be so useful

[Paul] this f2f is different than previous. Want to look at where we go beyond 1.0.
Time estimates on agenda are just estimates.
3. Tuesday
3.3 IDAS and IGF
[Jim] Need to find out times when people can call in.
[Paul] Need another hour on API extensibility
[Paul] Can add authorization to the list too
3.5 Data Model
[Jim] Data Model discussion can take a long time
[Jim] 3 hours of IDAS back to back. 3 hours of straight IDAS might be too much at once.
3.7 Eclipse based selector
[Paul] Mike signed up for demo on eclipse based selector which most people haven't seen
3.10 Selector UIs
[Paul] lots of Selector UIs. Need to look at convergence. Hoping Andy can play a big role in this discussion. 45 minutes too short but everything on agenda is too short. Might only get to level setting.
3.11 DEMO -Digital Me
[Paul] DEMO on Digital Me - Can Andy provide some slides with issues for this topic

4. Wednesday
4.1 STS IdP
[Paul] Many people want a rerun on the STS discussion from the F2F in Decemeber (Mike)
4.3 Mike and Markus to discuss ways to merge SAML2 IDP into STS framework
4.4 Need 45 minutes for Novell demo on open source IDP
4.5 Web-based selector
[Paul]started IE based selector but decide to use ADOBE Air as a platform. Talk about pros/cons of approach
ADOBE not involved in Higgins but we'd like them to be.
4.8 First time to talk about R-Cards. Discuss how they are different from what Cardspace supports. When you introduce new cards some of the terms Microsoft uses doesn't work well.
Main concept of R-Card is a relation. Pointer to digital subject in the cloud. End point to a data source. Data sharing between multiple parties. R-Cards needs some basic authorization.
[Drummond]4.9 XDI - updated document on XDI/XRDS model. Complimentary to the Higgins model. There will be pointers to more detailed examples
4.11 Terminology - mostly interesting to Paul. Will put a link to discussions
4.12 5 ways to integrate OpenID -  openid foundation also discussing this topic

5. Thursday
5.1 Talk about what we might want to put into 1.1 (based on previous days discussion) Want concrete outcome, next steps.
5.2 Open Identity Network - talk about goals of non-profit - mostly just a brief intro
5.3 Interop Planning - do we want new functionality? Should have a schema for R-Card
5.4 i-card logo - propose alternative i-card logo - problems in IP with existing logo
5.5 Marketing and Outreach  Learn from marketing and outreach, what should Higgins do to become relevant. What communities to reach out to. "how to become cool" session. Working on new web site to give Higgins new look for web presence. Need marketing/evangelist front end.

Everything on agenda just a suggestion. Feel free to add to it. May not get to all topics. Please comment on agenda and add links to relevant content. Too much to do in 2 1/2 days.

[Jim] Will there be people who will be around Thursday afternoon (many people staying to ski on Friday)
[Drummond] maybe we can have some deep dives on topics with people who are still around. Take advantage of one on one time. Discuss open issues on Data Model?
[Paul] I'm staying - would be great if people could stay. Thursday afternoon will be an unofficial continuation.

Is schedule fixed or could things move between days. How to keep things constrained for people who need them to be constrained?
[Paul] please tag agenda items that can't be moved to another day.
[Paul] tag with FIXED for agenda items that can't be moved.
[Greg] would like to phone in if there is a discusson for configuration. Only time not available is Tues afternoon.
[Paul] Greg please add tag to that topic.

Would be nice to track agenda on IRC so that people can call in when they see a topic they are interested in (otherwise hard to know when topics start since schedule slips).
