Re: [gmf-dev] GMF Tooling missed M7

Hi Folks,

Actually I don't know if it is or not intentional ?
If yes, then shame on you.

If not I like this French sense of humor telling the truth when nobody expect it  :-)
It is the first time in my long career that I see an engineer telling to his boss that he is leaving the company using a worldwide mailing list !!

Have a nice week-end coming from the sunny England.
I would like to have a long week-end again tomorrow because 4 days last week was just magic :-)

No matter, I think this does not contain highly critical informations. I bear this mistake. At least, this is more transparent like that ;)

Hello Anthony,

I am replying by private mail since what I'm about to tell you has to remain confidential for the next 6 weeks

Now that you have stepped forward and committed to actually getting things done on GMF Tooling, we should consider the removal of the current project lead and have you take over.
I'm very flattered by this proposal, and I'd really like to take this role in order to make GMF Tooling more dynamic and get it go ahead with new challenges. However I will move to another company within 6 weeks. I'll remain an active Eclipse contributor since I'll mainly work on the Eclipse BPEL designer (which is a GEF based editor), and SCA editor (GMF-based). With this new job, I'll have more opportunities to contribute to other Eclipse projects, such as GMF. But taking the role of lead on a project requires time, and I'll have to discuss with my next employer to ensure this will be compatible with my job. I hope so.
If I get enough time for GMF, and if you still think it is relevant to make me lead for GMF-Tooling, I will be glad to accept. But now is a bit early for me to confirm I'll be available enough for this role. Let's continue this discussion with 2 monthes ;)
