RE: [gmf-dev] Feature versions for Ganymede release

Title: Re: [gmf-dev] Feature versions for Ganymede release
-1 for just plug-ins. Given GMF dependencies, the list
would be huge, hard to update and not helpful to grasp what we
actually depend from. To me, the reason stated at the wiki page, "to be
independent from feature version change" is illusive or at least valid only for
dependencies like oe.platform. After all, if there's a reason to bump up version
of a feature, there might be good reason to re-check our dependencies
anyway.
Artem
Thanks.
I forgot to include the experimental
SDK, which looks like it should go from 1.0.0 to 1.1.0.
Perhaps we
should eliminate feature-level dependencies and switch to just plug-ins?

Hi
Richard,
Yes the list looks good.
I completed
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=170821 for the plug-ins but
did not do the features. (i.e. the required features in all our feature.xml
also need their version updated (gef 3.4.0 from 3.3.0,
etc.).
Cheers...

[gmf-dev] Feature versions for
Ganymede release
Hi,
I'd like to update our
feature versions to correspond with the included
plug-in/feature changes.
As far as I can tell, they should be:

tooling 2.0.1
2.1.0

Look
right? Are there any pending changes coming that would impact
this
numbering, or are we good to make these changes for the Ganymede
release?
Thanks,
Rich
