Thank you for the update, David.

Just a little correction, it’s 8.0.0-M15,
which was recently released and should be considered a release candidate of 8.0. Not 8.0.0-M25

  • 8.0 was merged to master, which made 8.0.0-SNAPSHOT the main development branch. We merged 920 commits!
  • 7.1.1-SNAPSHOT now continues in 7.x branch - we keep convention from 6.x and 5.x. Next release should be in January 2026.
  • The master branch was renamed to the main. The original branch will be deleted after merging this change in the "otterdog" repository. I will updated Jenkins jobs today. All you need to do is to rebase your local branches.

Other news:

  • 8.0.0-M25 was released few days ago, consider it a release candidate.
  • 8.0.0 will be released in the horizon of days and weeks, depending on feedback for 8.0.0-M25.
  • 8.0.0 passed the TCK on Eclipse CI infrastructure, the integration to the GlassFish's maven reactor is not finished yet.
