Good afternoon, I hope you're all doing well and apologies for the second email.

The handler chain appears to be being applied despite the warning message in the server console. I might suggest this as a bug.

However, I've unfortunately run into this error whenever making a SOAP request from the SOAPHandler: 'java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Users\terry\Downloads\glassfish7\glassfish\domains\domain1\config\com.sun.xml.messaging.saaj.soap.ver1_1.Message1_1Impl@474b33d2 (The system cannot find the file specified)'

A post from Stack Overflow suggested that I import org.glassfish.metro webservices-api and webservices-rt as dependencies which I did, however I'm still receiving the same error. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Terry.

Good morning, I hope this email finds you well.

My name is Terry and I'm having trouble with the jakarta.jws.HandlerChain annotation in a WebService. I'm trying to specify my handler-chain.xml which is located under src/main/resources/META-INF. I've tried moving it to almost every possible directory and even tried an absolute path but am still receiving a warning that the file cannot be found. This is the warning I'm receiving in the server console:

'Component referenced from annotation symbol cannot be found. Related annotation information: Annotation [@jakarta.jws.HandlerChain(name="", file="META-INF/handler-chain.xml")] on annotated element [class au.net.rageroommc.imss.soap.AnalysisServiceImpl] of type [TYPE]
