Re: [glassfish-dev] E12 Glassfish build
|
Hi Guru,
could you postpone that a bit yet, some
two or three weeks?
I have done some work yet on GlassFish
7.1 which required updating TCK10 platform, few days ago we merged
another updates to GF master which has own runners for standalone,
so we can run it locally.
I have to distribute these changes to
few failing standalone TCK10 builds on the TCK your side
(Glassfish 7.1 updates some xml properties and scripts to pass, I
can remove this code then).
Then I will merge everything to
GlassFish 8.0 and TCK11 (which is different, however I expect it
will be easier than GF 7.1 and TCK10).
Then I can help you with the TCK12 and
future GF9.
All these GlassFish versions support
JDK21, so at least this is not limiting us.
David.

Dear Glassfish Dev,
We are initiating the setup of our Platform TCK (Technology
Compatibility Kit) jobs for Jakarta EE 12 Milestone 1. Our
approach is to leverage our existing Jakarta EE 11 TCK job
configurations as a baseline.
A critical prerequisite for our CI (Continuous Integration) jobs
to run successfully is the availability of a Milestone 0
GlassFish build that explicitly supports Jakarta EE 12, and is
compatible with either JDK 21 or JDK 25.
Could you please provide guidance on how we should proceed to
acquire this specific GlassFish build?
Thank you for your assistance.
Guru
