Re: [glassfish-dev] [External] : Re: Start CCR for Eclipse GlassFish 6.1?
 |

Thank you Gurkan Erdogdu for approving and merging my PR. I have
      submitted Jakartaee-platform #337
      and #338
to cover Eclipse GlassFish 6, on Jakarta EE 9.1 with JDK 8. I plan
to file the compatibility logo / certification page issue this
      time next week.

    Cheers,

      Hi,
I have started the certification reviews for Eclipse GlassFish
6.1 RC1 and Eclipse GlassFish Web Profile 6.1 RC1. The issue IDs
        are: Jakartaee-Platform
          #334 and Jakartaee-Platform
#335 respectively. With any luck, these will be approved
without additional work but there are so many places where the
wrong link or result could be pasted in, it won't surprise me if
I need to make more changes.

      I've created another
PR to a) fix a couple of mistakes/omissions to the
Platform TCK summaries and b) add new TCK summaries for Eclipse
GlassFish 6.0 and Eclipse GlassFish Web Profile 6.0 (these are
certified on JDK 8). If someone could give that a review, I'd be
grateful. Once these are merged, I can create compatibility
certification requests for GlassFish 6.0, with EE 9.1.
      Cheers,

Thanks Ed no concerns from me. I just merged your PR.

(Now that the Eclipse GlassFish site is building again
              ...)

I would like to file compatibility certification requests
(CCRs) for Jakarta EE 9.1, running JDK11 with Eclipse
GlassFish 6.1 tomorrow. In order to do that, I need a
review and merge (I can do the merge, or the reviewer can)
on my latest PR that adds the
various TCK certifications result pages to the Eclipse
              GlassFish web-site (glassfish.org).

I intend to file two Jakarta EE 9.1 Platform CCRs -- one
for each of GlassFish 6.1 and GlassFish Web Profile 6.1.
These will point, respectively to the corresponding 6.1
RC1 TCK Results pages in the above mentioned PR (certifications/jakarta-platform/9.1/TCK-Results-6.1-RC1,
                and certifications/jakarta-web-profile/9.1/TCK-Results-6.1-RC1)
            The other
question is -- does anyone have concerns or are there
any blockers that would prevent me from filing these
CCRs? Please reply if there are any concerns.
Otherwise, I think we'd like to have these filed so
that we can include Eclipse GlassFish 6.1 RC1 on the
                  9.1 Platform ballot.
