[glassfish-dev] Timing of M1 release

Just an update on progress. It looks like once this issue https://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/jaxb-ri/issues/1455 is resolved upstream in the JAXB-RI project we will have a GlassFish 6 version that incorporates all the initial change to the Jakarta namespace; starts up and can show the administration console. Once we reach that point I think we should tag our first milestone release and push to staging.

 

After that we can start on moving the code base onto JDK 11.

 

If no-one disagrees I will kick that off once the JAXB-RI M4 is incorporated.
