[glassfish-dev] Mega namespace PR

Hi All,

 

We are ready for people to review the mega-namespace PR that does a large chunk of the Jakarta namespace changes for GlassFish https://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/glassfish/pull/22969.

 

The PR now compiles on Jenkins so I’d like to get it merged into master so we can then start to work in parallel to do a lot of the snagging work to get GlassFish running against tests etc.

 

Next milestones as I see it;

 

1. GlassFish actually starts up without errors
2. GlassFish deploys a smoke test Jakarta EE app in the new namespace
3. GlassFish passes its internal test suite
4. GlassFish passes the TCK
5. GlassFish is cleaned up, branded ready for a 6.0 release

 

Thanks to Arjan and Gaurav who have built on my previous work to get this PR compiling and roaming around upstream projects to get them to a milestone release.
