Re: [geomesa-users] geomesa-users Digest, Vol 32, Issue 11

Dear, Jim
I can not solve for  ssl support. I searched  but all document said ...i must have domain for certification. I am a student and i have not any domain. kindly you help me how to i get freely (means financial cost) ssl support or you give me a full installation document how to set up geomesa. Actually I am beginner so i need to help how to ready my machine. For purpose of geomesa I am installed open jdk-8, maven, git, hadoop-2.6.0,accumulo-1.6.1, zookeeper-3.4.6,kafka-.8.2.1. geoserver-2.9.1, geomesa-1.2.6. But something is that reason  i can not run a simple program. So i want to a full document step by step how to ready my machine(full document means all necessary installation(hadoop, accumulo, geoserver, .... etc) )

Hi Rasel,

The script and deployment you are using is a minimal version of
GeoServer.  The container used is Jetty.

If you need SSL support, you have a few alternatives: 1.  Figure out how
to enable SSL in Jetty or 2.  Deploy GeoServer in another container like
Tomcat or JBoss/Wildfly.

I hope that helps direct your searches.  Do you have to use SSL at this
point in your work?

Cheers,

Jim
