Re: [geogig-dev] Some questions about data modeling

Can this idea be extended with use of hooks?  Perhaps some reusable scripts that will re-establish a database's foreign key constraints after import? Maybe even chaining imports of dependent features?

I know. Given we can consider geogig's storage mechanism as an object database, associations could be represented too by a pointer to the related object instance following the same hashing techniques we already use. Just didn't want to extend so much for something not remotely near in the roadmap currently.

That is a cool idea actually, we have to get this release out and get back to development :)
