Re: [gendoc-dev] gendoc encapsulation into a maven plugin

HI

Sorry for the delay of our answers.

I think it is a GREAT idea to encapsulate gendoc transformation into a maven plugin. We know that some users have integrated gendoc transformation in a Jenkins project. But a maven plugin could be really useful.

Do you have some ideas / experience / prototype about it ?

Regards

Dear all

I would like to know if this proposition was or not a good idea.

For me it will be great if we could generate the whole documentation without having to open an eclipse and click on the generator..

I would appreciate your comments.

Francois

Objet : [PROVENANCE INTERNET] [gendoc-dev] gendoc encapsulation into a maven plugin

Dear Gendoc developer community,

I am newbie to gendoc project.

I would like to know if someone is working on encapsulate gendoc eclipse artifacts into a maven plugin.

My idea is to allow uml documentation generation directly through a maven gendoc plugin without calling any eclipse standalone/headless platform.

By so, we could give to the community a way to generate at build time all documentation of an UML/EMF project.

It is just an idea that have to be improved.

Appreciate your help on this topic.

Francois
