Please check here https://wiki.eclipse.org/Virgo/Future the mapping between different Virgo releases to Gemini Web.
Gemini Web 3.0.x is compatible only with Virgo 3.7/4.0

You mentioned that you use Virgo Server for Apache Tomcat (3.0.1.RELEASE). If that's the case then Gemini Web 3.0.x is not compatible with this Virgo version.

What is the protocol between Gemini and Virgo dev teams. The end goal for us  is to upgrade Virgo server to the latest Gemini (which will bring the latest tomcat), by any chance do you know how this can be coordinated?

Only Gemini Web 3.0.x is supported. If there is a request for a new Gemini Web 3.0.x in order to update Tomcat version, I can do it, otherwise there are no plans for releasing a new version.

- Apache Tomcat 9.0.31 or later
- Apache Tomcat 8.5.51 or later

We are still on Tomcat7.

We are using Virgo Server for Apache Tomcat (3.0.1.RELEASE) that uses Gemini Web (2.0.1.RELEASE).  My question is: what is the process of upgrading Gemini to the specified tomcat version. Do you have any plans to release Gemini with latest versions of tomcat 7/8/9..?
