Re: [gef3d-dev] Project meta data is out of date for technology.gef3d

Projects are required to keep meta data up to date using the MyFoundation Portal (http://portal.eclipse.org/). The following problems were found
with this project's meta-data:

* There is no next/future release of this project. All Eclipse projects
must have a "next release" planned and scheduled.

In the creation review presentation, the following plan was announced:

2009-01 Version 0.9
- Dependencies to LWJGL are reduced or removed (enabling other
renders to be used instead)
- Known bugs are resolved
- Ecore Tools (i.e. ecore diagram editor) are ported to 3D (not part of
GEF3D core development, but serves as proof of concept and maybe
example)

We are working on that, of course. Due to the legal problems with LWJGL, we are focusing on the first item, that is we are removing all dependencies to LWJGL. I'm not familiar with the Eclipse process regarding release management (and planing), I'll try to find, and read the appropriate documents. Maybe you can give me a hint were to start...

Anyway, I'm going to add a new version of the GEF3D code to the CQ for due diligence in less then 2 weeks. Does it make sense to defining this first code contribution as the "next release"?

* There is no 'projecturl' pointing to the project home page

Fixed.
