[gef-dev] GEF Integration Builds
|
Hi Team,
I have added Alexander to the build emails directly, rather than adding gef-dev and polluting our email list with build messages. The "email list" is also the contact list for the Helios builds (it cannot be a dev list).
The email is added in two places
:pserver:anonymous@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:/cvsroot/org.eclipse
www/gef/build/_common.php
www/gef/build/update_tags.gef.head.txt
_common.php is used to start a build manually using the common modeling build from http://modeling.eclipse.org/gef/downloads/?project=gmf&sortBy=date&hlbuild=0#latest
update_tags.gef.head.txt is used as an option file to org.eclipse.releng.tools.tagandrelease.
Each night at 20:50 EST, org.eclipse.releng.tools.tagandrelease determines if there has been a change delivered to CVS. If it finds something, it tags the source in CVS and releases a new map file into CVS. It then triggers a new integration build using the same common modeling build.
The modeling builds are moving to Eclipse Buckminster for their builds. We will do the same when the modeling team is further along.
Cheers...
Anthony

Ian Bull ---2010/04/13 02:03:01 AM---ok great. I saw the test result yesterday (maybe it was working then) and it did have something to do with testLineIntersect.

Re: [gef-dev] Fwd: [FAILURE / 1 F] GEF HEAD Build 3.6.0 / I201004122052 done [21:12] |
ok great.
I saw the test result yesterday (maybe it was working then) and it did have something to do with testLineIntersect.
Ok, as long as the failing test case is known (and even better, we have a bug to track it), then that's great.
As for the build results, let's see what Anthony thinks about sending them to gef-dev, or at least adding you to the list.
cheers,
ian

Hi Ian,
the link to the JUnit html test report seems to be broken. It points to http://modeling.eclipse.org/gef/gef/downloads/drops//3.6.0/I201004122052/testresults/html/org.eclipse.draw2d.test_linux.gtk.html but should indeed point to http://modeling.eclipse.org/gef/downloads/drops/3.6.0/I201004122052/testresults/html/org.eclipse.draw2d.test_linux.gtk.html.
If the link was working you would have probably seen that the test case that fails is testLinesIntersect() within GeometryTest. I have added it in order to reproduce bug #162082 (see cvs commit comment), which seems to have been an existing problem since quite some while. The good news however is that I have already come up with a solution (see Bugzilla comment for #162082). To apply it we would in advance just have to clarify what we expect as desired behavior for line intersection calculation in case of co-linear overlapping line segments, so comments to #162082 are very much welcome.
Despite that I would indeed also by interested in obtaining the build results (either via gef-dev or by adding my e-mail to the respective list directly).
Best Regards
Alexander
