Hello Gunjan ,
you can use setContents method of editor.
Make all models you draw on viewer serializable , define proper editPartFactory for these model editPart.
now u can save models to file ( as they are serializable) and while loading them ,
use setContents to set this models saved last time.
U can add these models to some collection and can save and set this single object.

This
is my frist mail to the forum...
Im devloping a pluging whose view is based on GEF.I have to provide the funtionality of save the workspace.
can any one tell me wht are the steps needed to do this?
More particularly how to get back the object of the saved workspace when that file is opened again...
