Concerning filters, please consider if it would be valuable to use 
filters functionality, which is implemented and used in Jobs view.

This functionality allow user to prepare many filter-configurations, and 
switch between configurations very fast using menu bar.

The only thing, which have to be developed are:
- filters (IGridFilter)
- SWT components to configure filters settings (IFilterComposite)

Dialog to create filter configurations, menu for switching between them 
are ready to use.
