Hey Akila,

great to hear about your interest in Flux for the Google Summer of Code.
I will go ahead and add a few more details to the wiki about possible ideas for Flux, but from your skills and interest it sounds like you might be interested in maybe trying to get the Flux messaging system (which is based on JavaScript, Node, and Socket.IO) to work within Eclipse (by getting the node app to run inside of an Eclipse plugin, maybe via the V8JS project that runs Node and connects it to Java). Just an idea.
