Hi all,

I just released v9.0-RC1:

Note that mirrors may still need to sync, so downloads may be a bit slower until then.

Please all test the release candidate before the final release on 2025-09-30.

Please all also check what issues are assigned to you and whether you're actually working on them. Unassign yourself (and perhaps remove the milestone) if you're not working on them anymore, to not have to carry over so many issues to the next release.
