Hi all,

I have just compared v0.8RC1 with v0.6, which I have used for course 4TC00 in Q1. The old version runs about 50% faster than the new version. Meaning, that when I run the same big simulation of the controller and plant and visualisation of the first Festo workstation on both releases, at a certain point, the real stopwatch time is 45, the v0.6 version is at simulation time 30, and the new 0.8 RC version is at time 20. So both versions appear not to be able to keep up with real-time. Distribution-seed=1, so no stochastics. Start-up time is almost the same and around 10s. Screen sizes (displayed image in visualisation) and console contents was identical.

My hardware: MacBook Pro 16 inch, with 27 inch 5K LG screen, so very high resolution.
