Following on from our various discussions I just wanted to report that I have raised the following TCK challenge in relation to the AppMemBasicDecorateIT.testNotAuthenticatedAndDecorated test case.

As discussed on the issues the intent of the tests is to test the ability to decorate a HttpAuthenticationMechanism and not to test the semantics of the Jakarta Authentication API.

Within WildFly I can confirm that the proposed alternative to decorate the mechanism works and with this test result being ignorable WildFly will be passing both the Jakarta Authentication and Jakarta Security TCKs as well as Jakarta Authorization within the platform TCK.
