[equinox-dev] Equinox console not working

Hello,

I've just downloaded the recent release version of equinox and tried to 
follow the quick start guide, but even launching OSGI console didn't 
work for me.
I tried to launch it like that:

$ java -jar org.eclipse.osgi_3.10.1.v20140909-1633.jar -console

and it didn't return anything, it seems like it launched but not 
returned a console.

I'm running ubuntu 14.04 x64 and have OpenJDK Runtime Environment 
(IcedTea 2.5.2) (7u65-2.5.2-3~14.04) installed.

Any suggestions?
