We are locking down 3.3 (RC0 is this
week) and this code is only just starting the IP review process.  We
should get provisional approval very soon now.  That will allow the
Equinox community to review, comment, hack etc until all are happy.  Then
we have to ensure that the final legal approvals are in place and the bundle
can be graduated out of the incubator.  Given that the legal and Equinox
teams are flat out with getting Europa out the door, code review and final
legal approval is very unlikely to happen in time for Europa.

Having said that, we are not bound to
release things only on the release train schedule.  Once the above
work has been completed the bundle will graduate and particular versions
identified as stable.  The community can help with that process by
getting and using the bundles ASAP and reporting bugs and supplying patches.

Is that due to the time to handle the software grant?  Is there
anything the community can do to help?
