Hi Ed,
I do have a concern having launcher problem getting fixed in RC2. So I am thinking of doing a RC1a with launcher fixed. This way launcher fix would be available with simrel in RC1 itself. If everything goes well there will be a RC1a tonight from platform

Jonah,I've updated the catalogs now.
I expect the mac installer has the same problem, but respinning that is not really a reasonable option.
I'm a little concerned that the platform is building RC2 this week, basically the final release build, but we've not had a good build since M1. If I understand correctly, the current plan appears to be "build RC1 with the remove-splash-path-hack and assume-the-splash-screen-works-for-RC2"...
I'm not sure if the installer suffers the same problem, but it worked on my virtual box just now...

@Ed I guess the catalog needs a respin too.
I won't actually do the final publication step until I hear from Ed to make sure that the installer catalog is indeed in sync with the EPP M3a release.
