Re: [epp-dev] Removing package-specific N&N links

Jonah, that sounds reasonable, but perhaps check during RC1 so there's time for corrective measures by the maintainers prior to RC2? Removal of stale links could/should still take effect with RC1.

Hello Package Maintainers,

Since 2020-12 release I had to update N&N links in all packages bar one (Thanks Nitin for updating JEE)

Therefore from 2021-06 I propose enforcing this rule from releasing.md:

- [ ] On RC2 check "new and noteworthy" version numbers - If any N&N are out of date, remove the N&N entries and notify the corresponding package maintainer.

For this release I updated all the N&N links for all packages.

Hi all,

As a continuation of some items in the "retrospective" thread, here is a place where we can discuss the removal of package-specific N&N links: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=569754

Committers, please voice your (dis)approval on this bug.

Thanks in advance,
