Hi Jonah, 

I did a test with the new binaries generated by the 'packaging/job/simrel.epp-tycho-build' job:

- https://ci.eclipse.org/packaging/job/simrel.epp-tycho-build/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/org.eclipse.epp.packages/archive/


I noticed that the main update URL is:

- http://download.eclipse.org/releases/2020-12

In other words it uses http not https.

Is this on purpose?
