No, there is nothing specific about the
scout package. The notarization has been very flaky this week, and I ended
up having to publish a failed build. Build 1185 was the "best"
build as only one package was not notarized (scout). I am working on a
way to manually retry failed notarizations so that for M3 and beyond we
aren't in this position again.

We had to make more changes to the signing phases in Maven than expected,
although that was for the GPG signing for Maven central.

Hi everyone,

Our next milestone build is available for testing: EPP 2020-09 M2
 
Apologies for the delays again due
to MacOSX Notarization being even more unstable than previously. The advice
from cbi-dev means that we have a build that has all but Scout Package
notarized and the notarization time has been reduced from ~2 hours to about
20 minutes. Further refinements in this process are coming.
 
I have been following the steps on https://hackmd.io/@jonahgraham/eclipse-epp-release-process -
you can see the checkmarks as to what is done.
