I am "in the same boat" (not
being able to contact Markus). I suspect he has gotten hung up on a
commuter
train? BUT, I *think* I
figured out how make
his repository visible, and have done so. So, yes, let's proceed. Unfortunately, I need to go offline
for a few hours, so if anyone has an "M7" version of an EPP package
installed, it would be great if you could test that it does indeed
update
to RC1 version. I am 99% sure it will ... but, Markus and I usually run
a "sanity check" to be sure. And .. I won't be able to until
after noon. Thanks, From:

Neon RC1 packages
HI Markus and David,I am currently on
vacation but Eric is responsible for
updating our downloads page today but he's unable to contact Markus to
make sure that all is well before going live.
Should we move forward with the release or should we wait
a bit?
thanks

Hi Package Maintainers,
our Neon
RC1 packages are available for testing from
https://hudson.eclipse.org/packaging/job/neon.epp-tycho-build/296/artifact/org.eclipse.epp.packages/archive/
For update tests you'll need the
following p2 URLs (slightly
different than in earlier releases):
http://download.eclipse.org/technology/epp/packages/neon/RC1/and
http://download.eclipse.org/staging/neon/(new)
Thanks for testing and for
voting!
Regards,
Markus
