Re: [epp-dev] Juno SR2 RC2 EPP packages
|
Maybe it's worth reporting a bug against GEF, but it's only a harmless warning message of p2 that there is a p2 repository configured that isn't there (or better: The URL is wrong). In most cases these are repository entries from old installations, or in another old workspace. In this particular case my guess is that there is a GEF feature out in the wild that contributes the outdated .../site.xml URL. If they remove the site.xml everything would be okay.
The packages itself define only a few p2 repositories, i.e. we make sure that the Simultaneous Release repository is included and activated. Only some packages define more than this one.

Markus

In testng the "update from SR1" case, I had a warning about GEF update site not being available. This could've been me as I wasn't testing a new/pristine installation of SR1. I just updated the version I've been experimenting with for Android. The SR2 update installed alright and no other negative circumstances arose. It could be an artifact of some other package I had installed.
