As it turned out there were problems when updating the EPP packages on Mac OSX to Helios SR2. Therefore this update is currently disabled. If you really want to get the SR2 packages from a p2 repository you can do so by adding http://download.eclipse.org/technology/epp/packages/helios/SR2.fixed to your list of repositories.

The ready-to-consume package archives are looking good and don't seem to be affected.

Apart from that you will only get the feature groups of the packages with the command below. If you want to get the product with its branding you need the IU of the product, e.g. epp.package.java

IMHO the root of my problem: The eclipse release and update sites do not contain the epp Helios SR2 features. For instance it does not contain 1.3.2.20110218-0812 feature versions mentioned above.

For instance
eclipse -application org.eclipse.equinox.p2.director -repository http://download.eclipse.org/releases/helios -list

does only list

org.eclipse.epp.package.java.feature.feature.group=1.3.0.20100617-0520
org.eclipse.epp.package.java.feature.feature.group=1.3.1.20100916-1202

I expected it to contain:
org.eclipse.epp.package.java.feature.feature.group=1.3.2.20110218-0812
too, but it is missing.

Could you please upload allow the new epp*feature.groups to the http://download.eclipse.org/releases/helios Update site?
